The Plan
The meeting will
begin with a round table discussion to set the tone and
discussion of the core thematic questions for the meeting.
Sessions will contain a combination of talks and interactive
discussion periods, each lasting either 90 or 120 minutes.
The detailed format will be 2-3 invited talks, followed by
2-3 assigned short challenges by young investigators, and
then ~20 minutes of discussion. The short challenges will be
2-slide presentations given by the young investigators and
aimed at initiating discussion on the meeting themes.
The structured portion of the meeting will end with a final
organized discussion/debate about the future efforts of the
International Seizure Prediction Group (ISPG). The objective
of this discussion will be to articulate a set of targets,
and metrics for reaching those targets for the group’s
future success.
